This website is owned and operated by Iska Ford Trading as The Rocking Horse Emporium, 1 The Orchard, Wilberfoss, York. YO41 5LP.

Making a contract with us

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. We will give you the option to purchase an alternative or we will offer a full refund.

If the goods are not available, we may offer substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, we will refund in full.

How to place order


You can place an order via our secure payment system on the website by clicking on 'add to cart' for the items that you wish to purchase. In the next step you will see a summary of the order you have made with a confirmation of the cost inclusive of UK mainland postage. If all details are correct proceed to our secure paypal payment system and you can pay with credit/debit card or a paypal account (you do NOT need a PayPal account to pay us with PayPal).

If your item is bespoke or you need more information, please either email us at
sales@rockinghorseemporium.co.uk or call customer services on 01759 388552, where we can discuss your order in more detail, we also accept payment by most major credit/debit cards via PayPal.

 

Delivery


All our prices include FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY (excluding Highlands and Islands).

Please also contact us for shipping costs to non UK mainland or other destinations. 

We aim to despatch all orders within 10 working days (usually 2-3 working days) however please allow extra time at busy periods such the run up to Christmas

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.

Cancellation and returns


This policy does not apply to made to measure goods where you have specified your own measurements - these are exempt from the right to cancel.

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us or write to us.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights — for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Faulty goods

We have strict measures of quality control, however if there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

Natural Materials

While every effort is made to ensure the products we make are of a very high standard, we cannot guarantee that leather and hair etc. will be of a uniform colour or with specific grain patterns.

Design, Construction and Use

We have designed our products to be safe in normal use by a child as a toy, our kits MUST be made/fixed as per our instructions using materials included within our kits. We recommend that children riding rocking horses should be closely supervised by a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES.

Changes to these terms

These terms were last changed on 09/03/12.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
